What You Need - C++ Compiler and a game hook
Usage - Basic Control of WMP from ingame

To use add both these files in your project and include wmpwrapper.h in your hook.
Then call the following functions to control WMP, their pretty self explanitory.

Stop();
Play();
Mute();
Next();
Prev();
VolUp();
VolDown();

May be a good idea to make this a class as it might conflict with some of your
current functions.
