Help! Bf1942

Hi, i'm new to all this hacking malarky. I have several hacks (including: No fog hack, and Anti-Recoil) for bf1942, all of which I don't know how to use properly. All i'm doing is running bf1942, then quickly returning to my desktop to run the hacking program. Everytime my game crashes, no matter what hack I use, anyone know what I'm doing wrong, thanks.
