I noticed that after a month, i havent gotten a single reply concerning my error attaching expander, prob related to the ExPanDer ehack mod.
To sum it up again. Ok, I was reinstalling army ops after a long hiatus of not playing, so coming back I knew I needed to stop by MPC to snag alittle something for tha road, out of the 4 things i downloaded "ExPanDer" the latest zip version, a ehack mod, is now causing my systemto error each time i log on to windows. It says error attaching ExPanDer, then after i click ok it says version mismatch ExPanDer, and ExPanDer config are different versions. Ive reinstalled everything, even as far as adding the newest graphics driver avail fer my sys. Now heres the weird part, Grand Theft Auto vicecity, now displays that SAME two error messages whenever I launch gta-vc.exe to play. It is actually keeping me from playing GTA, a hack for army ops called ExPanDer. I've tried my darndest to get rid of all traces of ExPanDer, but to not avail. Ive reinstalled GTA reinstalled AAO, reinstalled directx to the new 9.0c, reinstalled my graphics driver, and done a hundred file searches attempting to locate this ExPanDer whereever it still remains in my sys. If anyone has ever had this problem before id love some help. I thought it was REALLY weird that it seems to keep me from playin GTA, a completely standalone, non multiplayer game. My brother has commented that he is sure the author of it is laughing his butt off. If you have no way to help me, remember, never, and I mean NEVER download the ExPanDer series of ehack mods, they dont work, and they ruin unrelated programs. |

Your problem is with d3d8 in your windows/system32/dllcache folder. The real one gets overwritten with Expanders dll. Just put a real d3d8 back into dllcache.
It was made by SAMDestroy and was the best Evilhack to date. Newer versions had an uninstall option by right clicking the tray icon. You can always download the newest version (1.2) and run it then do the uninstall and it should fix everything. ![]() |
