I've recently attempted to buy gold in order to increase my World of Warcraft character's stats only to find the hundreds of sites advertising that their site is the cheapest and most reliable source. After hours of doing research and trying to find the best one I came up with one site which had cheap prices and promised remarkable service. Shortly thereafter I learned what many people probably learned using the same site; it was all just a scam and getting your money back is a pain in the a*s.

I've decided to create this page to serve for future WoW gold buyers as a reference before they decide to invest in this popular practice of buying gold.

Below you'll find some popular WoW gold websites along with some possible unknowns which I've found on my search and their rating based on either my own use or the popular opinion of others:

Description: Very reliable seller, delivered 300 gold in a matter of 15 minutes. Prior to purchase I used their 24/7 live help which was attended to within 2 minutes of clicking. I was immediately connected to an informed and comprehensible person who was able to tell me that demand on the server I was inquiring about buying gold on was 0 and that once my order was placed I would be first in line. As previously stated, within the 15 minutes my gold was delivered and my experience with them was phenomenal.

Description: Horrible service. Having seen no bad reviews about this site at first I was very eager to test it out with a purchase of 100 gold. I quickly initiated a java chat session after my order waiting nearly 20 minutes and still not being attended to. I decided to call the toll free number they had listed on their site only to find out "my order was on the way" and that demand was especially high due to "weekend traffic." I was guaranteed that my order would be delivered within 12 hours or I'd get an extra 10% gold bonus and by 24 hours that I would receive a full refund if it had not gone through. It's now been close to 72 hours and after a number of calls and no responses with my paypal claim I'm assuming this site is another one of the scammers on the list.




Please note that none of the above listed websites have paid for a listing on this page and that the opinions written here were strictly from my firsthand experience with these sellers.

This list (while small now) will gradually increase as I continue to investigate these WoW gold sellers and please understand that my experience was only with one server and one character and may not apply to all users. I will try to make as fair and just a list I can.

I personally use www.bankofmmo.com to buy my gold.

I've been to a lot of sites to buy gold but this one is my personal favourite. It is very inexpensive and I get the gold the same day. Usually within an hour or two. I've never had any problems. I don't have to buy a set amount of gold, I can just put in the amount I want, which is also a plus. Also, it is cheaper than $0.05 per gold!!

Definately check it out, I've only had great experiences using this site!

Hi, my name is Maryse and I have ordered World of Warcraft gold online for the first time ever. I wanted to make sure I would have a fast delivery and a good price so I went to MyMMOShop.com - Your virtual goods MMO Shop since they had good reviews.
I ordered 500 gold on April 1st 2008, today is April 15th 2008 and did not get my shipment of gold yet. I have contacted customer service several times and always get the same reply.
Actually, someone told me about a week ago that my order was prioritized and that 50% of all the orders would be delivered within an hour and 95% of all orders within 24 hours. As I said, that was about a week ago.
Three days ago, I asked to get in touch with a manager. I got an apology for the delay, but no email address or phone number. I let it go and did not reply.
Today I asked clearly to get in touch with a manager, nothing more. Got an other apology and they called me William (a man's name) instead of Maryse (a woman's name).
I understand that they cannot always control the delivery time, but the fact that I was told that my order would be delivered with an hour or at least under 24 hours is ridiculous. The fact that I have to ask over and over again to get in touch with a manager without getting anything but the usual apology from them is not professional at all.
I am extremely disappointed with the service and delivery time. I strongly recommend that you do business with someone other than MyMMOShop.com - Your virtual goods MMO Shop.

These people are horrible.

It took them 3 weeks to deliver gold, and refused to answer emails. Within 3 days of gold delivery, they contacted Blizzard and claimed that their account was "compromised". Blizzard returned ALL of the gold to them. They denied it, denied reimbursement, and played stupid.

Never, never, again. seswow.com is a scam, pure and simple.
